Itinerary

Day 1 Mexico City to Morelia
Rich in history and culture, Morelia offers fascinating colonial architecture, picturesque streets and delicious local food. In the evening watch the spectacular illumination of Mexico’s most beautiful cathedral, then hit the streets for a night out on the town. Hotel (B,D)

Day 2 Morelia to Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo
Journey into the never-ending summer of the Mexican Riviera and kick back in the neighboring beach towns of Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo. Hotel (B)

Day 3 Ixtapa
Explore the modern resort town of Ixtapa or chill in the quaint beach village of Zihuatenajo. The warm waters are perfect for snorkeling, kayaking, fishing and boat trips. Hotel (B,D)

Day 4 Ixtapa to Acapulco
Head to the bright lights and non-stop, 24-hour energy of Acapulco Bay! Watch famous death-defying cliff divers and when the sun sets, tap into the nightlife of Mexico’s ultimate party town. Hotel (B,D)

Day 5 Acapulco to Taxco
Wind into the Sierra Madre Mountains and find the quaint, stucco buildings of Taxco nestled in the hills. Known for its fine silver handiwork, check out artisan shops for the perfect souvenir gift.Hotel (B)

Day 6 Acapulco
Get into the local scene by exploring a traditional open air market. Otherwise, relax in the sun on the beach, sample mouth-watering seafood, or watch the sunset on an optional party cruise.Hotel (B)

Day 7 Taxco to Mexico City
Return to Mexico City & visit the unique floating gardens & markets of Xochimilco. Then it’s off through “The City of Palaces” where you’ll see a multitude of ancient ruins & interesting colonial-influenced, yet modern architecture.Hotel (B)

Day 8 Mexico City
 
Start the day with an excursion to remarkable ancient ruins of Teotihuacan. Afterward, the day is yours to jump into the city’s high energy through its sidewalk cafes, bazaars, boutiques & museums. Hotel- Breakfast - Dinner 
 
Day 9 Depart Mexico City 
This morning the tour ends and it’s time to say farewell to your new friends.
