Day 1-
Wednesday: Depart from
Home Depart
from home town on overnight flight to Egypt. (Airfare on own
- Best Single Travel will be glad to assist)
Day 2 - Thursday:
Cairo, Egypt Arrive at Cairo
Airport where you will be met by the group's
assistant & transfered to our Hotel
-overnight in
Cairo.
Day 3 -
Friday: Cairo After
breakfast get ready for a full day of amazing
highlights.
First we drive to Memphis where we will see
the limestone Colossus of Ramses II and the giant
Alabaster Sphinx. Then we continue to Sakkara where
the Step Pyramid heralded the start of the pyramid
age. From here prepare yourself for a breathtaking
experience as we marvel at one of the seven wonders of
the ancient world, the Great Pyramids of Giza, and the
Sphinx, which casts its enigmatic gaze across the
sands of the desert.
Day 4 - Saturday:
Cairo Today we
visit the Egyptian Museum which has over 120,000
items and the
greatest collection of Egyptian
antiquities.
The Citadel, a monument to
medieval warfare, houses a number of museums,
ancient mosques and the Alabaster Mosque
of Mohamed
Ali (used as the royal
mosque).

Day
5 - Sunday:
Cairo to
Aswan Relax
and enjoy your morning because this afternoon it is
time for a visit to the Khan El Khalili Bazar. The
souk dates back to 1382 and is known for
selling good-quality clothing, cloth, spices,
souvenirs, and traditional jewelry and perfumes at
reasonable prices.
Pack all you souvernirs as we are transfered to the
Cairo station for our overnight train to Aswan. Dinner
is served
onboard.
When traveling through

Day 6 - Monday:
Aswan to
Nile
We are met at
the train station and transfered to the dock
where our Nile Cruise begins.
We then visit High Dam & the Unfinished
Obelisk

Afternoon we take
a Felucca Ride to Botanical
Gardens and Outer View of Agha
Khan
Day 7 - Tuesday: Nile
Cruise
Morning flight to
Abu Simbel
to
visit The
Temple
of Ramses II
& his wife Nefertari. Abu
Simbel also represents the triumph of
UNESCO's Campaign to salvage the
temples which
would have been lost beneath
the Nile.
Today we visit the
temple Kom Ombo which was built on
a high dune overlooking the Nile and is
dedicated to the crocodile god Sobek
and the Falcon God Horus. Then to
Edfu to visit the temple, the
best-preserved major temple in Egypt,
dedicated to the god Horus. Lunch on
board during sailing to
Esna.
After the cruise crosses
Esna lock we sail to one of the
most important destinations in Egyptian
history, Luxor, where you will spend
your last 2 nights on board the
ship surrounded by the remains of
the greatest civilization ever
known.
Day 8 - Wednesday: Nile
Cruise
After breakfast we cross
to the west bank of
Luxor to discover the largest
open museum in the world. Visit
the Necropolis
of Thebes,
Valley of the kings, which was
used for over 1000 years as a great
tomb for the Kings of the New Kingdom
(1500-1070
B.C)
We will also visit
the famous temple at
El Deir El
Bahary for the only
Pharaonic female ruler,
the Queen
Hatshepsut.
On our way back we
stop at the Colossi of Memnon,
named by Greeks after the grandson of
Eos, goddess of dawn and a
mortuary temple in Thebes guarded by
two gigantic statuses of Amenhotep
III

Day 9
- Thursday:
Nile
Cruise to
Luxor Today we discover the East Bank of Luxor
including Karnak & Luxor Temples. On entering the
Temples of Karnak you will see each legacy left by the
various pharaohs as the complex grew. The deeper you go,
the further back in time you will travel, with the oldest
ruins dating back over 3,000 years.
The Luxor Temple was once joined to the Temples of Karnak by a
2 kilometer long Avenue of Sphinx, a portion of which marks the
entrance to the temple. Dominated by statues of the great
warrior pharaoh Ramses II, Luxor Temple has survived Nile
floods, foreign invasion and thousands of years exposed to the
elements.
Day 10 - Friday:
Hurghada After breakfast we drive to Hurghada,
once a simple fishing village, but now, with its crystal
clear water, untouched reefs and multitude ship wrecks,
it is one of the best Egyptian tourist
destinations. After we check into our
hotel, enjoy a glass bottom boat ride with optional
snorkeling. Then explore the nightlife on
Hurghada Marina Boulevard with over 80 shops and 7
bars just waiting for you.

Day
11 - Saturady: Hurghada Today
is a day to sleep late, relax on the beach. swim, dive or snorkel
in the Red Sea, or explore the small town center with its bazaars,
mosques and lively atmosphere.
Tonight is our outdoor Farewell dinner.
Day 12
- Sunday: Hurghada to
Home Today we must say
goodbye to Egypt and all our new single friends. Transfer to
airport and flight home.
