Our resident chef will be showing you the best produce Scotland has to offer and on the August date MasterChef runner up Jilly McCord will be joining you in the kitchen mid week and sharing some of her favourite dishes. Not to mention our visits to a local farm and fishmongers to choose he best local produce with your chef.

Gillian McCord Masterchef 690x460Jilly McCord, originally from Langholm in the Scottish borders, has had a passion for cooking throughout her life, but took the plunge and entered MasterChef UK in 2019. Jilly was runner up in the competition and since then has expanded her culinary experiences: appearing at festivals; working with national brands; holding supper clubs; and offering her services as a private chef. She is a full-time teacher of History and Politics, but uses every spare minute creating new recipes and pursuing her love of food. She was also a Scottish rugby internationalist, appearing 47 times for Scotland and captaining her country in the Six Nations Championship.

With lots of indoor and outdoor space and breathtaking views of the Loch, this is the perfect destination for our taster break. Cooking Vacation Itinerary: 
Monday

Fàilte gu Loch Lomond! You will arrive at your stunning loch side Estate where you can settle in, meet your host and chef and enjoy a traditional afternoon tea with welcome drinks. You then have time to explore the estate and the stunning surrounding acres of land. Join your fellow guests for pre dinner drinks and a traditional Scottish dinner.

Tuesday

After breakfast, you will head out for a walk with our guide and make the most of this stunning location and enjoy a picnic on the banks of the Loch. We will return to the estate and later in the afternoon, our driver will pick you up for and take you to the shores of Loch Lomond for a special cruise. You will sit back and enjoy the sights of this stunning Loch. We return to the estate for dinner.

Wednesday

After a hearty breakfast, we will make our way to Glengoyne distillery and enjoy a whisky tasting and tour. We return to the estate for lunch and then you will have your cooking demonstration with your chef. Dinner will be at the estate.

Thursday

After breakfast, we will take a visit to a local farm to find about organic farming, how things have changed since the 1950s and then enjoy a tea or coffee with some home baking. Lunch will be at the estate and then you have your cooking lesson with your chef/ or Guest chef. Then enjoy your Scottish-style farewell dinner with your guests. Slàinte!

Friday

After breakfast, you have time for one last wander round the grounds of the Estate and any last minute packing before our drivers come to collect you and take you back to Glasgow Airport or Glasgow Central station. Haste ye back!

  • A non-refundable $750 deposit is required at time of booking. The balance is due 60 days before departure.

Cancellation and Change Vacation Policy
Cancellations must be made in writing to us by the person who the booking. Any notice will become effective from the date of receipt by us of the notice. Up to 10 weeks prior to departure, full deposit and any additional costs (private transfers etc), paid before that point will be withheld. ii) Within 10 weeks of departure 100% of the full vacation cost and any additional costs paid will be forfeited.
