What to Pack for Your Vacation
New Orleans is a very casual destination. It can be warm in the daylight hours, but very cool at night when the breezes blow off the water so bring a warm jacket for the evenings. Pack comfortable clothes & walking shoes as we’ll be doing a lot of walking.
Feel free to look like a tourist during the day and on Bourbon Street, but dress for dinner if you have reservations Those people checking luggage keep in mind to check with your airlines regarding luggage fees. Remember to pack all your liquids in your suitcase or you must follow the TSA rules for carry-ons -3-1-1 = 3.4 ounce (100ml) bottle or less ; 1 quart-sized, clear, plastic, zip-top bag; 1 bag per passenger.
